Iraq elections in disarray after court ruling
The candidates were banned because they are affiliated with Saddam Hussein's Baath party which ruled the country before the invasion in 2003.
The Iraqi government has condemned the court's decision and is due to hold an emergency debate on Sunday.
Campaigning is due to start on the same day for the 7 March poll.
A government spokesman said the court decision was "illegal and unconstitutional".
The election is regarded as a crucial test for Iraq's national reconciliation process ahead of a planned US military withdrawal.
On Wednesday, the appeals panel ruling overturned a ban on hundreds of politicians from running for public office.
Post-polls investigations
Baathism is a form of secular Arab nationalism and was the ideology espoused by Saddam Hussein when he came to power.
The BBC's Gabriel Gatehouse in Baghdad says although the list of names straddles the sectarian divide, it is Sunni groups who have felt most targeted by the exclusions, and whose voices of protest have been heard loudest.
Although a minority, Sunni Muslims were dominant under Saddam Hussein's rule but have since complained of being marginalised under the post-Saddam Shia-led government.
The ruling would allow the candidates to stand for election, and be subject to investigation only after the polls.
US officials had voiced concerns about the ban, fearing that it could inflame sectarian tensions and undermine confidence in the electoral process.
There are still more than a 100,000 American troops in Iraq and the Pentagon's exit strategy depends in large part on a peaceful and credible election, our correspondent saysPosted by Mr Aan at 12:52 AM 2 comments

Tubuh sihat, prestasi mantap
2. Minum banyak air

Having to remove shoes before you enter someone’s house
I have to put this in writing before I forget it over the time. While at work, I got a called from a friend of mine to help him connect to his new ISP. I drove after work to his house and as I approached the main door, I noticed all the shoes being removed and placed at a side. Conscience told me I had to remove the shoes I am wearing. The steel toe shoes I was wearing were strictly indoor and only had house-dirt if you call it that way. I drive to work and I have separate boots to wear during site visits. The shoes came up to my ankle so it took some time for me remove both and finally enter the house. The guy was just waiting at the main door like it was part of normal activity, but *not* for me it was!
After I set up the new router it came to the point where I needed the new ISP username and password. Without a surprise he had no idea about it and he said that we will have to go to his cousin’s house to check his email and get the login details from the ISP’s email. I got out of the house with him, put my shoes again, and we drove to his drive which was a 2 minute drive. His cousin’s house was similar or more strict with the custom of removing shoes. The cousin’s mom just had the door half opened and looking down until both of us removed the shoes. We went to the cousin’s room, he quickly checked the email, got the username and password and we were out of the house within 5 minutes. I had to put the shoes again. In another 2 minutes, we were back to his house and I removed the shoes again!
After setting up the username and password, and a few unsuccessful attempts sync, it turned out that this specific ISP required their local server address appended to the username. I wasn’t familiar with the ISP I didn’t know anything about this ISP server. We had to go again to his cousin’s house to get the ISP server address. This time I said, “look, I don’t want to go inside, you can write the server address and come back”, and I waited outside of cousin’s house. I was thinking how much of a hassle this removing shoes is.
In our house, we force people not to remove their shoes. We welcome guests with the full dress they were happy to wear. Girls would wear all these nice high heels and what’s the point if they have to remove this before they enter someone house? What’s the whole point of buying all these nice shoes just to wear them inside the car?? Hosts should offer house-shoes if they want the guests remove their shoes they are wearing. If that is not at least the case, then I find this whole custom highly offensive.
I will take a pair of thongs with me hereafter and keep them in my car so that I can wear them whenever the house I go to requires shoes to be removed.

Ruffedge - Pemuja Dari Jauh
Kau dan aku hidup di kayangan
Sejak kita bersua
Dapat kurasa sesuatu istimewa
Tapi kusedar
Siapalah aku
Si pemuja dari jauh
Meskipun berdekatan
Dunia kita berasingan
Sejengkal bagaikan sebatu
Siapalah aku
Si pemuja dari jauh
Senyumanmu jelinganmu membuai khayalan
(Membuai khayalan)
Kau dan aku hidup di kayangan
Kuingin mendekati dengan lebih dekat lagi
Tapi tak mungkin oh tak mungkin
Siapalah aku
Si pemuja dari jauh

Lelaki
Susah senang dilalui dengan senyuman
Pejalanan yang diringi doa-doa
Insyaallah dimakbulkan
Aku yang bertanggungjawab
Aku yang memikulnya
Kan ku laksana
Tugasku kerana
Aku lah lelaki

NUM

The NUM has always regarded education and knowledge as a powerful tool for the working class and as this site develops it is hoped that this will be of assistance in providing the visitor with an understanding of how the world is seen from the eyes of the National Union of Mineworkers.
The National Union of Mineworkers is alive and kicking, and is still representing miners, their families and their communities. The NUM is still very active industrially and politically. It is over twenty four years since the start of the Great Miners' Strike of 1984/85. We warned then that if our arguments for a role for coal in our energy requirements were not heeded then the country would pay a heavy price. Twenty four years on we have been proved absolutely correct.
Most of the nation's collieries have been closed, we are now at the mercy of foreign importers and gas and oil prices are rocketing. Our own gas reserves have been depleted at an alarming rate as we have squandered them in massive quantities in gas-fired power stations when we could have used coal. At the same time we have been squandering our indigenous coal reserves, with which this nation was blessed, by sterilising them in closed coal mines. At the same time we have been squandering the talents of our skilled workforce by making them redundant.
In the next few years we will have to import gas and oil from politically unstable or war torn regions of the world such as Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Algeria and Equatorial, New Guinea in some cases through pipelines wide open to terrorist attack.
We will present the compelling case for Britain's coal industry more fully as the site develops and place the blame for a looming energy famine where it belongs, with those who have and are putting our energy needs in peril for purely political and vindictive reasons.

Symbolic Analysis Laboratory
To become practical for assurance, automated formal methods must be made more scalable, automatic, and cost-
The heart of SAL is a language, developed in collaboration with Stanford and Berkeley, for specifying concurrent systems in a compositional way. It is supported by a tool suite that includes state of the art symbolic (BDD-based) and bounded (SAT-based) model checkers, an experimental "Witness" model checker, and a unique "infinite" bounded model checker based on SMT solving. Auxiliary tools include a simulator, deadlock checker and an automated test generator.

Chris Levy - What You Feel
There’s a lonely place,
There’s no sound,
Just a heart that pounds,
Life’s unknown, where’s the way back home?
In my mind, there’s a silent cry.
What you feel, what you know,
You’re not in control,
ohhhhh
If you just let it go,
There’s a piece you’ll know.
ohhhhh
Got to be,
Something bigger than me,
How to find,
Just some peace of mind?
When in sight, part of you gives light.
In my mind, the same tape rewinds.

Green meant what
Green is the color of nature, fertility, life. Grass green is the most restful color. Green symbolizes self-respect and well being. Green is the color of balance. It also means learning, growth and harmony. Green is a safe color, if you don't know what color to use anywhere use green.
Green is favored by well balanced people. Green symbolizes the master healer and the life force. It often symbolizes money. It was believed green was healing for the eyes. Egyptians wore green eyeliner. Green eyeshades are still used. You should eat raw green foods for good health. Friday is the day of green. Green jade is a sacred stone of Asia.
Green Energy
Green contains the powerful energies of nature, growth, desire to expand or increase. Balance and a sense of order are found in the color green. Change and transformation is necessary for growth, and so this ability to sustain changes is also a part of the energy of green.

Aku lagi
langit jadi mendung dan kelabuangin bertiup nan sayu titis air berlagu
dedaun lalu gugur disapu
berat limpahan itu hujan dijiwaku
Mudah tewas perasaanku
Gugur air mataku
Aku bukan begitu
Namunku hanya insan biasa
Yang tiada lebih apa sama di sisi-Nya
